Great Guitar Review by Tony P

There are probably more Esteban models than there are Gibson models............I thought that "W" on the fret board looked more like a bat......I don't know what that thing cost. I imagine around 200 with the lessons and the amp, but for 200 and less you can get an Epi or Yamaha that can knock your socks off. Anyway, the Estebans are not my cup-of-tea, but the guy sure knows how to make money and he's been selling those things for years.

I saw Estaban by chance , a couple months ago when I had gone to the Eastside Cannery . It s one of the local off strip casino. It was weird because it was early afternoon and I was walking to a favorite one arm bandit when I heard incredible guitar playing flooding out of one of the clubs. I walked over and there was a TV in progress warning signs and I stood by the door watching him and woman violinist playing. Regardless of all the negative hype about his guitars, this guy can play. I saw one of his Estaban guitars on a stand but he was playing a classical looking guitar. After a minute I was shuffled away to where I belonged. Pretty sure at that point he was making a commercial.

Sorry not very exciting story . My Pamela Anderson one is better but that's for another forum.

Sorry not very exciting story but I thought it more relevant than some you tube human in a monkey suit. Anti-Ape bigot.

Now Don Carlos, don't be so quick to take offense. I'm sure people here didn't realize that you really are a, er, uh, whatever...........

Some of my best friends are non-human homininae, but my wife is a bit prejudiced, I'm afraid....

DonCarlos, I have a friend who saw him at an outdoor concert in Arizona a couple years ago. He said the guy was outstanding. A very high level guitar picker who played numerous styles........ I'm not a fan of his guitars. My son-in-law has two of them. I've played them and really don't want one. Their not hard on the fingers or difficult to play, but they obviously lack the quality most of us are accustomed to... In all sincerity I think Esteban has brought a lot of adults to the guitar. I suspect many upgrade to better instruments and will play for years.
