spank
Very much like j45 standard big difference is the bass. Koa is more of a punchy bass you can feel in your chest. Great highs and mid really sounds louder then most guitars I have played when flatpicked. Fingerpicked sounds even better very smooth mellow sound. I was afraid it would not be loud enough coming from a very big and loud epiphone ej 200. I was wrong I will overpower even that large deep Sound of the epi. I love it. spank
Strumming an E chord fells like your cranking on the throttle if a v twin motorcycle. In car terms feels like a Cummings diesel turbo with tons of torque. As for a standard j45 would be a v8 of a 69 gto with 400 hp.
spank
Here is the best part just won 500 of this guitar from russo music gibson day. Good things happen after you buy a gibson.
Johnt
It's the resonation when you really attack the 5th and bottom E when you hear the KOA speak Yet nothing is missing in the middle range either And best of all they're so bloody pretty Sat (albeit clutching a bottle of Talisker) for 20 minutes staring at the back of my J200 last night! I hear you to have looks and sound in one piece of art. I love the j200 I will one day own one. That is the guitar that made me love gibson.
