6stringTom
I was doing my catch up listening to NPR's "Science Friday," where I found this interesting segment on Les Paul. Although I'm strictly an acoustic guy, I find the story of Les Paul's invention of the electric pretty interesting, including the fact that he felt his first electric was rejected by audiences because it didn't look like a guitar. The head of Les Paul Museum is the person interviewed, and she has quite a few anecdotes about him, based apparently on knowing him personally. Here's the link: http://sciencefriday.com/segment/09/27/2013/les-paul-inventor-and-innovator.html Happy thanksgiving to everyone. It seems a good day to thank everyone for all the information and fellowship that is shared here.
