XxMerlinxX
So the nanomag input jack on my Epi Ultra 2 makes a popping noise whenever I wiggle the input cable around. Is this an easy fix or do I need to replace the entire jack?
XxMerlinxX
It doesn't do it on the other input jack, it's only loose on the nanomag jack, which makes me think it's the jack itself and not the cable. I'll have to pop it open and see if something is loose I guess.
retrorod
Yeah, Pop it open.....with caution, of course! Inspect, digress and digest....always worked for me! I don,t think much has changed (as far as that goes) from "back in the day"
XxMerlinxX
The nanomag jack is encased in a sort of box. You can get down into it from the back, but I couldn't force the prongs inside closer together in order to make the end of the cable snug inside. I've emailed Nanomag asking for either a suggestion or replacement jack. Looks simple enough to replace if I could just source one somewhere. It really sucks though because I just picked this guitar up.
XxMerlinxX
I purchased it used. It takes just a normal cable.
