nikko18 Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 hey i made a video with my web cam. it's me playing lead guitar over a backing track, check it out. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=49257290 i hope that link works for it. i couldn't figure out how to save it to my computer except as an html file. can anyone help with that? any one else have videos.
nikko18 Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 hey i just made another video. this time with my strat i made. it's a different backing track too. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=49269268 although my high E string is broken right now, so im not playing at my best.
KSG_Standard Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Good job on the video...which amp are you using with the strat? Are you using the tube screamer?
nikko18 Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 well... i am using my crappy yamaha practice amp actually, and no tube screamer. i would be using my good amp and the tube screamer but... i usaully bring my kustom amp (my reall nice one) to school on monday and bring it home on friday. but a few weeks ago there were two snowdays (thursday and friday). then it was xmas break, and no one at the school. so i have bee stuck without my nice amp and tube screamer for two weeks! :-s
nikko18 Posted December 29, 2008 Author Posted December 29, 2008 yeah! the first one was so fun i just had to make another. and then i got to get new strings for my strat so now i need to make another on with it. this time with all the strings.
nikko18 Posted December 30, 2008 Author Posted December 30, 2008 i'm going to make another video tommorow now. my uncle got me this karaoke machine thing for xmas and i have found that if i mic my amp really close with it and turn the echo all the way up on the machine i get a really cool sound. and i have found i can hook it up through my surround sound sytem in my room and get an even cooler sound. and (but wait there more!) i can also hook my computer up to karaoke machine at the same time thus running it through the surround system too. then i can play my backing tracks through it. if i get another mic for the karaoke machine i can mic the room and then record (another cool feature of the machine) and the machine records stuff to usb drives so i can then put it on my computer and probably do some mixing and stuff and make the songs even better. im excited
