Les Paul Pups Used by Duane Allman Question

Are the pups used on a 2008 Studio the same as the ones used by Duane?

What those guys said. There's a pickup company called WCR Coils that makes a set that is supposed to sound close to what Duane used. I can't vouch for them as I've never tried their products but they tend to get good reviews (for whatever that's worth).

Every since my '65 Firebird was stolen in ATL in the mid70's, I've been playing mostly acoustic(D-28) and just a little on an olde mahogany 50's era Jr. The action is high and I just used it for slide. Got a mid-80's Strat in 1985 and been playing that for electric. Well I finally spung for a 2008 Faded Studio and plan to set it up and start having fun with it.

Also gonna set up the Jr for lead also.

 

Looks like I may have to save up for a 57 or 58 LP huh?
