Unless it's a 'deluxe' studio (not sure they still made them for GC in 2012)...it's most likely chambered. The Studio is an excellent basic guitar which will sound just as good as a Standard or Traditional for a third less money. Binding is attractive....granted....and a bound neck does feel nice. But as for sound quality...no intrinsic difference. Sound differences will be mostly due to pick ups, quality of the wood (mahogany body/maple top), and perhaps weight relieving scheme. Try it out first...not all Studios (or LPs' for that matter sound alike regardless of similar features/qualities). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
