p90s with 500k pots..

how would it sound like the p90s/seymour duncan phatcat with 500k pots? is it gonna be a treble monster? or it would sing well? thanks

I use Jason Lollar p90's in my SG Classic with 500k pots. The sound is... awesome.

Changing pots to 500k is pretty easy and relatively inexpensive and can make a big difference. You can always go back to 300k if you don't like the results.

Basically yes, they don't allow treble to bleed out so more treble ends in the sound that comes out of the pickups.
