Qcstrings
Hi all, Saw this at my brother-in-law´s. He got this used in the early 60's. He thinks it is a Gibson, there is nothing written on it, probably erased when he decided to sand it off many years ago. Does anyone recognize this guitar as being a Gibson ? Thanks in advance ! Qcstrings
Ok thanks Grog ! With your help, i found what it was : early 60's Harmony vibrajet guitar. Since i am a proud owner of 2 Gibson guitars (SG std 61 reissue, Les Paul studio), I sure will stick around the forums. Thanks again !
Grog
My first playable electric guitar was a Harmony Bobcat, similar to the one pictured here.......... From that I purchased my '69 Les Paul Deluxe, it's been all Gibson since then.

zombywoof
The Harmony Gold Foil pickups were made by Dearmond. Harmony did make a couple of Silvertone models though that came with Gibson pickups such as the 1446 today known as the Chris Issak guitar.
