Learning to Play as 12 string question

Like its say I have my dads Gibson B45-12 I played for a little while a couple years ago on a cheap six string but I have forgot most of what I learned. I was hoping to find out if there is a book or video or something of that nature to help teach me to play my dads Gibson. I really want to do this guitar justice and not beat on it. Any help or suggestion I would be happy to hear. I live in chicago also if there is a teacher who would be willing to help
