I've never heard of them.

They tend to link Graveyard to other bands like Witchcraft, Uncle Acid, The Sword, tec. but I do not find them to be similar.

The link to Witchcraft is understandable I guess since at some point Graveyard and Witchcraft members were in Norrsken.

I've been listening to The Sword lately, good stuff.

That similar heavy dirge Psychedelia influence, I dig em....

The Marshall's are too confusing, we need about 30 more knobs haha

I love the Sword! I saw them with Kyuss last year. Best heavy rock show ever

No no...you saw them with Kyuss Lives!! They were not allowed to use the Kyuss name...and now they are Vista Chino. You hear the new album?

Definitely! Hav you seen them live before?

I gotta say, when I saw them, they had a REALLY good sound. Their amps all sound awesome. You're gonna love it

I have not, I am looking forward to see them live and hear their sound, their CDs unfortunately sound very compressed, little dynamic range.

Haha yeah I know. Josh Homme wasn't there either.

I haven't heard of it, what's your take?

Not a big fan of it actually. I saw Kyuss Lives! too....great show. And Homme is the reason they couldn't use the name Kyuss and why their name is now Vista Chino. Law suit and all that.

Unfortunately I think the album is TOO Kyuss and not in a good way. There's nothing new in it...seems like a rehash, you know? I've only given it a couple of spins and i will probably go back and try it again when I am in more of a Stoner Rock frame of mind but for now, it does not spin.

And bringing it back to the thread topic...if you ain't gotten into Graveyard yet, I hate you. Just kidding but you should listen to them. Best new band in years...i've been trying to talk em up since 2007! Sweet Orange amps!

Yeah I see what you're saying. I definitely prefer Josh Homme's vocals over John Garcia. Garcia rules, and I dig him, but I'm sortof a Josh Homme fanboy.

This is pretty much my favorite thing they ever did, but its basically just QOTSA

As for the John Garcia stuff I'd say the classic Gardenia is probly my favorite, but I mainly just zone out on that awesome riff!

But yeah dude you're gonna have to hate me cause I still haven't gotten into Graveyard  What's their album that I need to go buy?

You are not kidding, their sound is really nice, solid, thick and loud at a very pleaseant level. The vocal mix needed to be a bit better but that's is kind of how their vocals sound in their CDs.

They put a killer show, I was surprised by how many women where there. I don't know why, maybe because I do not know a single female that likes heavy stuff.
