will2
I just bought a bass made by J.J.Scott. The story is that he was a Gibson employee and he had a partner based in Korea manufacture it for him. It says " J.J. Scott" on the head stock. Does anybody have any info on this Luthier? Thanks

will2
How about a pic? It's a copy of an old Stingray bass from the early 80's.

will2
How does it compare to a real one? It's been almost 30 years since I had my Stingray. This J.J Scott is a high quality guitar ...and heavy. Does anybody know anything about J.J. Scott? I'd like to find out is he has a web-site or something. I have no idea when it was made......does anyone have any creative alternative method of dating this bass? Thanks for any input.

Hmmmmmmmmmm when it sounds to good to be true it usually is isn't worth your time. Edited April 2, 2021 by Sgt. Pepper
