v1r00z 3 Report post Posted January 25, 2014 Hi! I have noticed that left channel sometimes is louder than right channel. Then I have noticed that when the right fader is maximum up, I can push it and it makes music much louder. So I think that the right fader doesn't volume up sound to the maximum. Its annoying that I have to manipulate my volume on each song or I can push the fader, then the sound volume goes up, and sometimes it stays like this, but ussually when I release fader, the volume goes down again (It irritates people in the club when volume goes up and down). Can I do something with this issue?

Can I do something with this issue? Hi! I have a similar problem with volume fader of deck A. When it's totally down I can still hear the music coming from the speakers. Also volume goes up and down sometimes. Same behaviour when I use my unit as a midi controller. Most probably it's a hardware issue because i tried everything else (factory reset, etc) so I have to replace my volume fader soon. Anybody knows if I can replace it with a generic fader? I'm out of warranty unfortunately.
v1r00z 3 Report post Posted January 26, 2014 I'm out of warranty too. Can somebody from stanton team tell us how to change this fader, where can we buy it and if this will help?
DJ RobbieT 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2014 I have the same issue. Deck A is about 15%-20% louder than Deck B. It's annoying!
*E-ROW* 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2014 I cant speak on the crossfader issue listed above. However, in regard to the difference in volume between DECK A and Deck B, for me this was alleviated by switching to the balanced outputs instead of the RCA outs. No one is mentioning what they are outing their SCS to... but RCA = bad. Use a TRS to RCA adapter if you need to get the output to a home stereo. Antidote 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2014 My issue is a little bit different than the other users but it has to do with volume fader! When I turn it right down, I can still hear the music. There is sound leaking as it seems. Here is a small video with the issue in stand-alone mode first: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXxdMD3UH5k And here it is in midi controller mode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxgSC9zEZY0&feature=youtu.be (notice on Traktor how volume fader A (left deck) can't go right down) Also volume level on deck A is not always stable. It goes up and down sometimes without me touching anything! I use 1/4 Inch To RCA Cable. :)
