ALFA ROMEO CORSE Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Hi to all, I'm trying to turn my Gibson SG: the hardware come from a 1991 SG Special, I bought a lot of small parts, truss rod cover, a new pickguard, a stopbar TP-6 (I like this part) screws + nuts + washers. I keep the pickups original I change pickup covers with the pole pieces, the result will be great In parts it lacks knobs with pointers ... and a set of strings With the set of gold HB' s this SG is what I want !! capmaster Posted February 4, 2014 Share Posted February 4, 2014 The gold Top Hats without the inlay could also match, or gold Speed Knobs. In case you stay with the black toggle switch washer, I think black Top Hats or black Speed Knobs would look nicely, too. Lots of fine options to choose from... It's a good idea to go with the TP-6 fine tuning tailpiece. I installed eight of these, with chrome plating in my applications. Their usefulness is outstanding.
