Better for what, better in what way.....

For example:

Best in terms of Tobacco color..... 1959 Les Paul Standard In Faded Tobbacco

Best in terms of having a Bigsby..... 1957 Les Paul Custom 3 pup with Bigsby

Can you see where this is going yet ?

Perhaps you could help me here, Madguitarist78:

I want to purchase a length of baling twine. Should I buy the 24", the 24.75" or the 25.5".

And should I buy it in red, green or blue.....

Come on man - at least give us a hint as to what you want it for, music style, sound like or something.

I understand that my question is SLIGHTLY MUDDY, But What I mean is that I already have a standard and i think the custom with a Bigsby wold be good for different songs and I would have a better variaty of guitars, and I like the classic look of a Goldtop, But would a R9 be a better investment to roll out that little bit of extra cash for a guitar that will hold it value better and assuming that i could find a good flame top, How much would the value increase since nowadays Gibson is doing some funky stuff to their guitars and I really dont want to buy a R9 in three years when it has a freakin laptop in it that has 3,000,000 Tuings and sound capabilties ,,, thats all...

Dude... It's a 1959 Reissue. And it's from the VOS series. Which means that it replicates the original 1959 LPs to the tiniest detail... and last time I checked, original 59 Pauls didn't have built-in laptops.
