Bram Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 Gibson Les Paul Standard Silverburst (1988): One piece-mahogany body, one-piece mahogany neck, three-piece maple top, ebony fretboard. She is 100% stock, except for the pickups/pots/caps (which I still have). Big, thick, meaty and rich tone with a dark edge. Amazing sustain. six-string Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 here's a few more of mine. the ever under-rated "student" models of Gibson electrics. on the left is a real 1956 Les Paul Junior. it is complete and original except for the replacement tuners. in the middle is a VOS R8 Junior in TV white (limed mahogany) on the right is a real 1960 Special with replaced tuners and an added Bigsby. ilovegibsons Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 I will show you how much I HATE my guitar (see the sig, its a good starter guitar but I'm no longer a beginner... thanke god!) by taking photos of the chips in the paintwork, the poor finish on the back and the rust that has slowly accumulated on the pups (as when starting out I did not realsie that I had to clean them!)
