Gibson Les Paul Standard Silverburst (1988):

One piece-mahogany body, one-piece mahogany neck, three-piece maple top, ebony fretboard. She is 100% stock, except for the pickups/pots/caps (which I still have).

Big, thick, meaty and rich tone with a dark edge. Amazing

sustain.

I love it for smooth, thick jazz/blues and full on hardrock.

here's a few more of mine.

the ever under-rated "student" models of Gibson electrics.

on the left is a real 1956 Les Paul Junior.

it is complete and original except for the replacement tuners.

in the middle is a VOS R8 Junior in TV white (limed mahogany)

on the right is a real 1960 Special

with replaced tuners and an added Bigsby.

I will show you how much I HATE my guitar (see the sig, its a good starter guitar but I'm no longer a beginner... thanke god!) by taking photos of the chips in the paintwork, the poor finish on the back and the rust that has slowly accumulated on the pups (as when starting out I did not realsie that I had to clean them!)
