Rabs
Have to say, those look stonking (especially the Special and £699 is a bargain)

darling67
I had my eye on a Special in Butterscotch... but I decided to save the $$$. If I win the lottery in the near future, I'll grab one.
pauloon
Nice guitars, nice sounds......entry level ? Then play the buggers through entry level amps as well.
pippy
Nice guitars, nice sounds......entry level ?....Then play the buggers through entry level amps as well. Fair point, pauloon (although TBH I suspect they would sound good through most decent amps). Unless I miss my guess completely the Marshall Chappers is using is the Cap'n's very special Slash Limited Edition (serial #002; Slash has #001) which he demo'd a short time back. Reading off a 'cheat sheet' Chappers says the Special has Trap inlays........................erm...............No. Apart from all that nit-picking I thought they look great value for money - especially the Special in either Butterscotch or Heritage Cherry. Yum to both. If I was fortunate enough to get one I'd probably swap the plastics for black and try to fit a small p'guard (this, as all we Les Paul slingers know, improves the tone slightly) but they're very sweet as-is. Good one, Gibson! P.
