krock
I was doing my usual scouring the internet for interesting blog articles and came across this one which a few of you might find interesting. It talks about the process in which to convert a regular guitar into a active/passive. I personally cant see the practicality of doing all this however. http://www.seymourduncan.com/blog/the-tone-garage/active-and-passive-in-the-same-guitar-can-it-be-done/
Valeriy
Krock, I have a similar impression from that. There is video in that link, I listened to the guitar there, partial addition of the second pickup (active) with distortion to the clean Neck as mix this did not surprise or delight me . Indeed, this is similar to an additional experiment with the electric guitar. By the way, I have listened to you, your song, really well done and singing too! This really surprised and was pleasant, first impression is at once cool , usually this is good for perspectives. Tomorrow I'll listen again, though that is immediately obvious that good. Valeriy
I often use active mode, but do not mixing with passive because my passive pickups always lose the active and very much, so it makes no sense, to mix when pickups belong to the same the level of quality, I think.
