Does adding a Bigsby increase scale length

Sorry to ask this, but I couldn't find anything using the search function. Does adding a Bigsby increase the scale length from 24.75"?

I'm wondering if you lose some of the comfort of playing a short scale instrument with the Bigsby.

it does not change the scale length. however, it may change the break angle over the bridge. this will cause the strings to feel more slinky or less slinky depending on whether you decreased or increased (respectively) the break angle.

No, and yes. The scale length has not been altered, but any change that alters the overall string length from tuning post to the anchor point will affect string tension. A longer string has to be tensioned higher to reach the same pitch as a shorter one. So you might notice the action and bending is not so easy. Additionally, with a Bigsby, the string has to be tensioned higher to overcome the friction caused by running the string under the front roller bar.
