1972 Gibson G40 rebuild

Hi all! Newbie on this forum. I had a couple amps show up on my doorstep the other day, mostly junk except for a clean early '70s Gibson G40. The amp is complete except for the power transformer. I've done alot of tube work, not much solid state. A schematic shows +35vdc after a bridge rectifier. I have no idea what transformer I should use here. Like I said, otherwise clean and complete, so probably worthwhile to put a new power supply in it. Any help with a spec would sure be appreciated.

Hello, I don't have a good answer for you; I have the smaller g-20. Someone has a G-20 chassis for sale on ebay right now; I don't know if the transformer would be too small for your needs but I thought i'd mention it was there. The asking price was around $10 usd. I wish I could be of more help. A friend of mine has a small ampeg that needs a new power transformer but the cost for one was quite high. Good luck.
