BluesKing777
Just did a jumpy version of Betty and Dupree on my L50, learned from Stefan Grossman Guitar Workshop, but added some speed and solo : https://soundcloud.com/bluesking777/bettydupree01a BluesKing777. ChrisA83
Sounds great, playing and guitar! I wondered how these old archtops handled this kind of stuff.

BluesKing777
Thanks Chris and Rich! I thought I had better give this guitar a run as the other thread was talking about multiple guitar ownership, so I pulled it out of it's case and played a few tunes and hit "Record" before I changed my mind.... I don't think my recording conveyed the loudness in front of the L50 and the really astringent sound I was getting with bare fingers, but that is the game of home recording, and by the time it gets on the SoundCloud stuff there is not a lot of fullness left. Will keep at it. BluesKing777.
