Californiaman
New Years Evil, 1981, Los Angeles Sports Arena Just 40 feet away from Randy Rhoads, this was one of the greatest moments of my young life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXep6QA97Hw The amazing thing about Youtube is that I found Ozzy live from Long Beach, CA just six months earlier. I went to both shows. Stayed out all night long and had the greatest time at both concerts. Here's one from the Long Beach show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDpK-CA6Zrs

brad1
I saw Ozzy and Randy in Atlanta. One of the most incredible displays of guitar playing I have ever seen/heard. A few days later, as I was driving to Daytona Florida for Spring Break fun, I heard an announcement on the radio that Randy was dead. I could not believe I had just seen one of the last concerts he ever performed. I have always considered myself very fortunate to have been there that night. :)
