keithpitts Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Hi my name is keith pitts, I have recently purchased a new Gibson 2013 Les Paul Studio in Alpine White Serial Number 135221326. There is a small place on the top of the guitar that has some overspray on it from the factory. What I need to know is what is the best way to remove it. (I don't want to harm the finish) Thanks Keith Pitts
capmaster Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 This might happen sometimes. Had to deal with it on the neck's back of a brand-new Gibson, and had it removed by the dealer's workshop. I am lucky to have done so - they told me there had been the need of a touch-up after removing, no problem on nitrocellulose finishes.
deeman Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Sup Keith Pitts, take it to the shop and enjoy the new guitar.
