ksdaddy Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Living in northern Maine I don't get a chance to see and/or meet many artists. People go to concerts all the time and I'm sure some have a list of people or groups they've seen that would go on forever. As for me, #1 I don't have much of a chance because of my location and #2 I'm just not one for crowds. I guess the biggest names I HAVE seen were Hank Williams Jr (met him face to face in the hallway and got his autograph), George Carlin (my favorite comedian of all time... wild horses couldn't... ya know) and the Beach Boys, who I grew up on. Amazingly they sounded EXACTLY like the records. John Stamos was drumming for them that summer and he was dating Paula Abdul at the time so I saw her too. In a couple months David Lindley is going to be at the southern end of the state. You bet I'm going. I will NOT miss the chance to see him and I hope it's a small enough venue where he will meet and greet afterwards.
surfpup Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Super cool. He's a monster player for sure - with an instantly recognizable slide tone.
PingPongBob Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Always dig me some David Lindley. Especially this one.
