... and they are the best sounding pickups I've ever heard. I'm simply blown away!

The LF P-92s are split single coil pickups designed to be Lindy's version of hum canceling P-90s that are drop-ins for standard humbuckers. They are loud, warm and bright, snarly, punchy, clean, and fat with lots of texture- amazing articulation.

Blown away I tell you.

That seems awesome. I love the sound of P90s but they're so noisy

I always wondered why the Wilkinson W90's in my Vintage V100GT (an R6 copy but with a 60's neck) weren't really any noisier than humbucker guitars...

I didn't know enough about 'em to realize it when I originally had performed a Peter Green mod to them and rotated the magnets so the bridge pickup was magnetically out-of-phase, but after I purchased a Vintage V100PGM Lemon Drop that came with out-of-phase humbuckers in it I wanted my Goldtop back to stock configuration for that Gibson like tone in the middle position...

It was then that I realized the Wilkinson W90 pickup was a "stacked" dummy-coil like noise reducing pickup in the spirit of the Blues-90 that came in the Gibson Blueshawk guitars...

I suspect it's much like the Lindy Fralin P92's...

Wilkinson makes excellent guitars, hardware, and electronics!

Trevor Wilkinson was a personal friend and disciple of Seth Lover; father of the PAF, (as was Seymour Duncan) and knows a thing or two about pickup design!

That's not noise, it's upper mids and highs sustaining indefinitely! TONE, not noise ;)

naahhh. It's noise. I've never gotten along with them and have never had a guitar with P90s for long. I did have an LPSpecial that had P100s in it and I wish I still had it.

Still don't understand why they stopped making P100s. In my opinion they are the real deal. I also dislike the P90 hum. P90s seem to be more susceptible to hum and buzz than most Fender single coils. Despite of that, I switched to Fender Noiseless pickups in most Fenders, and I love them.

Yes it is! And even more important, I just brought that amazing Ric 660 home!

Love P90's...never got along with any of the "noise-cancelling" varieties. You can't take away all the noise without sacrificing something; high-end being that something. P100's and other hum-cancelling or "stacked" P90 designs never have the bite or that upper-mid "squawk" I'm looking for. Love the Wolfetone P90 in my '64 Melody Maker...that guitar IS the sound of Rock 'N Roll to me.

That's the second natural Ric I've lusted after this year, so yes, that is more important.

Hanging on the wall directly across from me right now are two signed originals of his, somewhere around the year 2000, he was just getting off the ground. An outstanding artist, I am glad we got these when we did.
