NIce surprise today

I just ordered a new Epiphone yesterday from Zzounds, wasn't expecting delivery until Monday or Tuesday. and even though I went with standard ground shipping, she arrived here this afternoon. I was so excited to open the box, I almost forgot my groceries in my car and I accidently opened the box bottom first. Here's a few pics:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So far this guitar has far exceeded my expectations. Fit and finish are excellent. Set up from the factory is pretty darn close to ideal. The neck is great, no buzz, and frets are well done. My guess on the weight is around 10 pounds, solid but not too heavy, and much better balance than my Sg. The Gibson pickups are phenomenal and sound great through my Blackstar HT1-R. I am really happy that I chose the Midnight Ebony over the Black Cherry. The cream binding on the neck and body combined the cream pickup rings really makes the flame maple veneer pop.

I love my Epi Tribute LP, too, these are great guitars and also come with a nice case. B)
