I think there's a piece or two on Youtube with Chet, Leo Kottke and Doc. Thing is, we're talking about pickers who are seasoned as well as skilled and talented. There's a certain "something" that IMHO comes from that. m

When Mark sorta "came out of the closet" and professed his love for country...several players I know couldn't believe that Mr. "Sultans of Swing" was a country boy at heart...then again...what about Albert Lee?? Several other Brits are great country pickers...ie Ray Flacke from Ricky Skaggs' band.
