uglycustoomer Posted April 8, 2014 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Hey guys - I bought a used Gibson Custom Les Paul 2006 Alpine white with gold hardware a few months ago for a fairly good price. I also recently just obtained the original sales receipt which lists the guitar as $2907 from guitar center. If i were to buy the same guitar right now( minus the whole ebony fretboard)from Guitar Center it's going for $3,999. Why such a price difference? Also - the person that purchased the guitar also purchased a MESA amp and guitar case. So maybe the sales associate gave him a deal being that he purchased a lot of stuff together?
