JuanCarlosVejar Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 check out Jeremy demoing this 1960's J 45 hybrid : JC
kebob Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Nice. Sounds great. I actually like the looks of that guitar, which surprises me.
E-minor7 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Nice. Sounds great. I actually like the looks of that guitar, which surprises me. Had exactly the same experience -
livemusic Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Hard to tell without hands on but sounds pretty good, looks good.
j45nick Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Nice! Pure "new" J-45 tone. Good to see our old pal Jeremy Morton showing this one off. I like the ebony finish. Not so sure about the white pickguard. A bit too 1968-ish for me.
aliasphobias Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Had exactly the same experience - That's three of us!
zombywoof Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Ouch, brings back some less than joyous memories of trying to pull sound out of a later 1960s Gibson that seemed reluctant to give it up. I have to figure though - if this one follows the Gibson way the only thing 1960s about it would be the cosmetics.
aliasphobias Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 That's three of us! Plus Mr. Morton gets to have his vid pop up whenever someone uses the search for "vibrational transference"-sweet!
CAMELEYE Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I can imagine this guitar with a dark, burnished gold pickguard to kinda go with the gold tuners.
Fullmental Alpinist Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Jeremy makes the big time! Nice. I think I like it but I'd have to go with a black pick guard. FMA BTW JC, I'm still obsessing over that J-45 Custom Vine....
