Jimi Mac Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I've been a fan since I heard Freddie King Cover this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBEKgYXIaGI It has such a Blues feel and it cries for a sweet Blues guitar solo! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16AnGcB7MHA I had to find the original after hearing that!
Searcy Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 That's a classic. One of my all time favorites. I did a half assed version of it a little while back.

surfpup Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Love those tunes. We have both A'int No Sunsine and Use Me in our sets now. Fun stuff! BTW, when I was trying to decide which parts of Use Me to play (guitar, bass, and that calvinova thing all have cool bits) I came across this you tube vid. It was helpful and kinda hybridizes a couple of the parts... I ended up mixing some of all three guitar, bass, and clavinova parts. It works and is a blast to play.

Wish I had seen that before I did my version.
surfpup Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Wish I had seen that before I did my version. Nah, your take on it was cool. I like the laid back feel and the octave vocals of yours.
