kaicho8888 Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 We're not hijacking the thread. We're posting about polishing gold...BTW, do not use abrasives on Gibson's gold plating. My Roadking has gold trim on the chrome engine covers...also, no abrasives used on it, either! jdgm Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 I have a Korean Shine semi (Gretsch knockoff) with a nice Bigsby-licensed gold-plated trem: I merely breathed on it and polished a little with a clean soft cloth and the gold plating started to disappear it was so thin...!
