I`ve this Gibson Marauder but I dont know if it´s original or nothing and would like to know more bout it! how much is it? if the serial is correct? everything! L5Larry Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 The Marauder was a model Gibson came out with around '75 or so. Knowing the "era" of the instrument tells you what format Gibson was using for the serial number. In this case, the 8-digit SN from this period would have a two digit date code prefix. "00" is the date code prefix for 1976. Nothing specific is designated by the other six numbers. That's all I can tell you from the information provided.
