saturn Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Doesn't it sound like The Police with Elvis C. on vocals?
saturn Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 Really? The whole song to me sounds like Stewart Copeland on drums, Sting on bass and what could pass as Andy Summers on guitar. I hear a little, "So Lonely", "Don't Stand So Close" and "Can't Stand Losing". I was riding in the car with my wife and this came on the radio and she said the same thing without me even bringing it up. And she knows nothing about musicians.
MrNylon Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I thought you were talking about the old Robert Taylor TV program, "The Detectives". Black and white TV, the whole bit.
cookieman15061 Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I saw the Police on tour with Elvis opening for them. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. Sting joined Elvis on stage to sing Alison.

I saw them on that tour too. Saw Elvis again on a later tour as well. "Watching the Detectives" was always a favorite of mine. I'd prolly have to name Get Happy as my favorite album though.
