capmaster Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 R.I.P., Rubin. Thanks to Bob Dylan who made me aware of Hurricane's fate. It deeply touched me over the years, perhaps more than was good for me. Through my entire life until today I tend to getting seriously worried and angry about what I feel is injust, at the moment social injustice in particular. In the 1970's, there was a state-wide weekly radio show here in Bavaria featuring a single long track on a single demand, and I sent a postcard there saying I wished to listen to Bob Dylan's "Hurricane." I always will remember how shocked and surprised I was when the lady DJ announced this song as the weekly track with overlength mentioning my name. Thank you, Ian, for sharing the news of Hurricane's passing away and the link to this song here.
