More like "Come on In My Kitchen" with a snippet of "Me and the Devil Blues."

That clip is from the 1970 film "Performance" in which Jagger plays a reclusive rock star named Turner. Remember the cut "Memo from Turner."?

Yes, this is J for sure - but in character, , , sort of. I've never seen this clip before and had great expectations.

Have to say I went out a bit disappointed - both with M and the G* (though he has an alright touch).

Thanx for sharing anyway, JCV. .

Btw, how do you know this is a 1968 J-200, , , and is it the same we hear in Jones' hands durin the Godard session, , , and Rock and Roll Circus for that matter.

*Actually sounds like one of those heavies from post-67.

yeah exactly it's the same guitar that Brian Jones and Keef were using . Keef played it on "No Expectations" in R&R circus .

I'm only assuming it's a 68 but I'm not really sure lol . it seems they got the guitar right around the Beggars Banquet Sessions so I think that's why I believe it to be a 1968 .

Ah makes sense.

Jagger is a great actor, I've heard him say that most of his songs are actually written in some sort of character. I really like that approach to song writing. I try to emulate that myself but not as well as jagger does it.

You might be right - don't recall seeing 200's in the Stones camp pre 1968. The year when both Harrison and Townshend got theirs too.

Maybe a trend rolled over the scene. . .
