IanHenry Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 If anyone can make it to my locality here in the U.K, likes Beer (served at room temperature od course) music and Hobbits you should come to the Middle Earth Beer and Music Festival here in Tolkien country http://www.middleearthbeerfestival.co.uk/index.html It's held every year, and should be a laugh. Ian
pippy Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Thanks for the thought, Ian but... Not that I could have made it anyway (although I would have loved to have managed along) from the dates in the link it finished yesterday............. There's always next year! P.
Kaiser Bill Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Picturesque to say the least. I loved my time spent in Blighty. I'll have to pass...especially on the beer.
IanHenry Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Picturesque to say the least. I loved my time spent in Blighty. I'll have to pass...especially on the beer. The Beer's the best bit! And you certainly don't want to drink good Ale cold. And damn it I've missed it, spent the weekend decorating and the date slipped me by! Oh well, there's always next years, I'll just have to content myself with the Jazz & Blues festival then: http://rvjazzandblues.co.uk/ Ian
krock Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 The CAMRA real ale festivals are usually very good if you get a chance to ever go to one. I usually go to the one in Bedford and Derby but they run across the whole country
Kaiser Bill Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Ian my brother...feel free to drink all the ale I would have been allowed. Double your ration mate. I wish you health and long life. Enjoy.
Mike1412blue Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Aw man! That's right up my alley! Only problem is I'm in Chicago, have a Beer and whif of Old Tobey for me!
