AJ 18S

I purchased a 'used' Epiphone AJ18S from a pawn shop last week for $140.00.......I liked the guitar's action but the main reason I bought it was to add to my 'growing' collection of Epiphones. My question is two-fold....was this a fair price or did the sales clerk 'see me coming'? Also...can anyone here 'enlighten' me about this model? Thanks in advance.

That is a good price.

If the six string plays and sounds as nice as the 12 string, it's a great price.

I got my AJ18s12 foe $140.

Been looking for the six string version since.

Nice sloped shouldered, solid top guitar.

What is the back? Mahogany?

Get her set up and you should have a lot of fun with her.

Thanks mgrasso!! I was starting to feel that I paid a little too much but feel much better now that you say it's a 'great price!'........it definitely NEEDS a new set of strings. I'll put them on and see where I go from there....thanks again!! Chuck

I recently ran across one in a Goodwill store with a $170 price tag so based on that I would say you got it at for a really nice price.

The price tag had $279.00 crossed-out and $140.00 written above it........
