After watching the video twice I still cant work out a valid reason why the guitars are roughly £4000 more than a regular PRS's. I did enjoy the blues jam though. I've never seen blues tapping like that before and the captain was on top form

Oh by the way.. as for the price.. if that's Private Stock wood, then your paying for that wood I reckon (even though its still a lot)..(oh and all that fancy binding)

Check this vid, at about 1:00 in.. listen to the sound of that wood :)

He seems like a cool guy and with such a creative playing style. I've never thought about creating my own delay type sounds using dynamics for example. I've bookmarked it so I can watch it again when I have more time

That is indeed some very musical wood. The last time I tapped on a fence post it definitely didnt sound like that

Paul seems like such a down to Earth guy. I'd love to hang with him for a day. Bob Taylor is the same way.

I've met him a few times and he actually seemed kind of aloof to me. But then he is PRS, and I am no one to him.

This is not good. To my experience, aloofness usually is the behaviour of people being afraid of lowering their guard. This way they think they can hide their lack of expertise since no one will happen to find their weak points.
