Gibson Tune o matic bridge

I'm trying to find, the date of my Gibson tune o matic bridge

 

The patent number is

 

2,740,313

 

or does anyone know a site where I can find this information?

It will ruffly give or take a bit the same age as the guitar date stamp on your guitar headstock

Thanks, but the bridge was used on a gretsch as a replacement for the lost original.

Have since found a Gretsch 60's bridge

There's no way to date the bridge based on the patent number. Every single bridge of the same model as yours, regardless of year of manufacture, will have that same patent number.

yeah, no way to date a TOM bridge.....i've asked mine out several times......
