Ok if anything right now i need a LP bad, first time in years I havent had one. However one of my favorite guitars ever was my 2002 Peavey Wolfgang stnd hardtail. Extremly great feeling neck and sounded just so great, yea I know why did I sell it? sorry but I got sick and sold a lot even my prized LP's to pay for my doctors BMW's or summer homes plus me just plain staying alive.I know Peavey stopped making this model but for me it was close to the perfect guitar, even though GAS never goes away. Here is a pic of my Peavey wolfgang hrdtail.

I keep seeing ads from online places like Music 123,sweetwater or MF somehow they just seem to appear in my Emails off to the side and alot of them are for the

http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-EVH-5107903-LIST and I believe they are made by Fender and seems a few things have changed in the materials.

Please can anyone tell me are the newer different maker ones are any better in build or sound/tone from the Peavey ones.As I said the Peavey hardtail one I owned was for me in build, sound clairity and down rite being fun to play the best.It was played by a few friends who were everything from just cellar dwealers (good name for a band that dont ever seem to play out)to a few pros who play for a living.Just thinking about some guitars I had to sell off and this was one of my favorites.Thanks...

I would choose the Peavey standard, as you will probably prefer that feel of neck. The newer EVH Specials have a rounder neck. You can find some great deals on the new EVH Wolfgang Specials, the do play really nice. I own a EVH WG Special ( Japan) and its a fantastic guitar, though I still prefer my EVH USA Wolfgang.

I made this clear as mud, lol. I think for you the Peavey would just feel right.

I would love to get a EVH USA Wolfgang Custom Deluxe, that guitar is sweet!
