On this particular sound test, I thought the Recording King sounded better than the OJ...At least, you sounded better on it [thumbup]

Nice demo. I thought both guitars sounded very good. Very impressed with the Recording King (beside RC producing some very good and affordable guitars, there's something special about 12 fret guitars, too), though I preferred the way the OJ emphasized the bass and mids. Loved your playing.

Guess I am stuck in the past but to me this is a Recording King.

$9.95 in the Monkey Wards Catalog. Talk about inflation, I paid $31 for mine.

Thanks alot for you video....It's funny that I'm looking very close at a Gibson J-45tv, J-35 Special and Recording King 12 fret 000 in either Rosewood or Mahogany

I'd like to get both but I'm waiting a few months because my wife and I are relocating and both changing jobs

Any way very good playing and beautiful guitars

The varying comments also make me wonder the degree to which our "computer speakers" affect what we hear. It certainly ain't what we'd hear in any sort of concert or across the living room.

definately. The OJ is stronger all around....has way more headroom. I can hit it harder and it will give more. With medium strings (it has lights now0 it becomes somewhat of a different animal but that is not a fair comparison. With a medium attack the recording king sounds darn good. It is more mellow and has a little rounder sound...but ha less headroom. It is EXACTLY what a sitka hog 000 should be. My OJ is my favorite slope of all time partially becasue of the comfort of the slightly wider neck. I probably played the RK better becasue I had been playing that right before this test and the 1 13.16 neck and spaceing of 12 frets makes mistakes easier to cover up or it is mus "roomier". If I play the OJ for a while, I adapt and then play it just as well and maybe even a little easier. Going form one to the other can be tricky.
