Jimi Mac Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 In a move to undo any potential thread hijack where I brought attention to Jack Peason within another thread I thought I'd start another... The man is spectacular. I first saw him in his stint along side Dickey Betts in The Allman Brothers Band circa 1998/1999. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzmsFb7w8f8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5Ot5TeGOlI This guy is worth knowing about!
Jimi Mac Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 Jack is simply sublime! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekmibr7ft_U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr7WMv8y69Q The good ol' boy's got chops!!!
surfpup Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Thanks for posting this, Jimi Mac. He's a new name to me, but definitely a talent. Very chameleon like, can do a lot for sure with the instrument.
Jon S. Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Jack is one of the best! I'm from Murfreesboro(right outside of Nashville), and Jack had weekly shows at a bar in town with The Nationals. It was like school. Anybody who played guitar learned something(or at least realized they needed practice ). He's very well known around Nashville, and stays busy playing with his band and others.
Dennis G Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 There aren't many players out there as good as Jack is, and even fewer yet who are as humble. Jack is "da bomb".
