Hoya
Rabs thank you for introducing me to Johnny A. I can't believe this is the first time I've heard of him!
badbluesplayer
The one that he's playing in the first video has an ebony board, not the countertop board like the new one. Look how low the action is on the guitar he's playing! Cool!!
Spoonful
The man can really play and he is doing it on his terms. I recently became an owner of his signature model guitar. I think this may be the best new model guitar that Gibson has put out in years. Not only is it very well designed, built and versatile in terms of tone, it is very light weight. I liked the first one so much (a stop tail version) that I snagged a bigsby version. Last of the quilt tops from Wildwood. Honestly, I'm having a hard time hanging on to some of my other guitars since I picked these up. Easy to shoulder and sits in your lap without wanted to slide off. Probably the easiest guitars to play that I own. I also find that the volume and tone controls really work to let you dial in whatever it is that you are after. I can also say that he makes them sound a lot better than I can. There is another thread in the Artist section of the Gibson Custom forum too.
