Gplracer
I have a Kalamazoo acoustic that has been in my family since the 1940s or 1950s. Can you identify it and give me a estimate to its value. The neck might need some work because the action could be a little lower. It is also a little smaller than a usual guitar. Inside at the base of the neck the number is 513 I believe but it is hard to read. There are a few very small cracks in the back. My dad almost threw this guitar away back in the 1980's when I was in college. Thanks very much!
retrorod
Could you give dimensions acroos the body (top and lower)? If it needs repairs, that will take value away of course. Are you a player or just looking to sell it?
Gplracer
The top is 9.75in and the bottom is 14.5in. I do play some and I am not sure if I would sell it or not.
tvguit
Thanks for showing us that guitar. It's a Kalamazoo KG-11. These are great guitars and have been gaining popularity lately. Yours is going to need anywhere from $350-$800 worth of work to be a real playable guitar again. Even so, great guitar and thanks for sharing! JustinK
I have a Kalamazoo that looks exactly the same and is the same dimensions but the number inside is 734. Is mine a KG-11 also? And what year is it? Thanks in advance, JustinĀ
