iluvcrap2000
I just got a Epi Ultra II, Nice Guitar, light. and was curious on the date so I put it through the date site, and it was made in 2012, china. My question is( and epi wiki says this was made for limited years) if this guitar is new Shouldn it have a recent made date? or is that the model date? and I shouldn't be concerned about it being two years old. oh and is it normal to have a scratched up pickguard if I just got it(took sticker off and it was scratched up)? crust
Probably sat in a warehouse for a while and was initially set up by the Epiphone technician(s) during the quality control checks, thereby causing some slight scratch plate scratches. You said you like it, cool.
flyingfrets
Ultra II was the previous (older) model. Ultra III is the current (new) production model. crust hit it on the head...you like and that's really all that should matter.
Scott Marlowe
My brand new SG Special was made in 2011. Perfectly happy with it.
