10K-DB Posted June 27, 2014 Share Posted June 27, 2014 Just wanted to wish all a happy + safe July 4th weekend,,and would also like to give a shout out+ salute to all those whom have served + sacrificed in the line of duty keeping our country free. 1776 is a special date+ event for America,,with many meanings to many people. Being a free country as we have for this long is priceless. Sure we can BB-Q,,party,,light off fireworks,,ect. But,,with many current "patterns" "policys",,what ever you want to label them,,that are being instituted ,,we need to keep in mind what this Holiday truly represents. Theres an old saying,,not sure who said it,,but it says: "Those whom do not remember history ,,are condemned to repeat it" Lets hope it never gets to that. Thanks anyway. yes it is next weekend,,but I thought Id post ahead of time,,as most will be very busy during that time. Mr Ray Charles's version of this still brings tears to the eye.
