Mule 1
My God this thing screams!!! I have a good collection of Gibson's and this one may be the new favorite. Huge sounding, great playing and sustain galore. Plugged into my Marshall JVM 410HJS it's like the Holy Grail. Great job Gibson,
Cocked Wah
Awesome. Yeah, I have always wanted a Gibson V. I have an early to mid 90s artist series Samick V that plays like a champ but it's no Gibson, that's for sure. Someday..
Graphic Autist
Congratulations. I really want one, but when I saw the $2,000 price tag, my dreams were put on hold.

Great job Gibson, OK, it's understood that you're addicted to PLAYING and not to PICTURING her, but remember: Pics, or it didn't happen! I also have to admit that I love viewing guitar porn

capmaster
Could you tell me how much that guitar weighs, please? I am curious about that, too. Pickup rings and witch hat knobs say it's the thinner Flying V History model.
Mule 1
Congrats, HNGD, looks great! Do you blow her through this pair of Marshall halfstacks? Yes I generally only take one half stack to gigs. Bigger outdoor shows or opening for a national act I have used 2 half or one full stack.
Mule 1
This is the history obviously as mentioned. I have not weighed it yet but it is very comfortable and it sounds fantastic! I will weigh it. I was a little concerned about the thin body but it lacks nothing in tone. It seems to be close to the same thing as the Kirk Hammett V. But less money lol. pippy
...I'm hoping they release it in vintage cherry color!... You're sort-of in luck, Jimi! Although it might look like it's almost black according to the link you posted in the lounge the only finish it is offered in is Aged Cherry! P. I didn't even realize that Pippy, it looked like it was simply another Ebony model to me...
Mule 1
Aged in a fire maybe... I didn't even realize that Pippy, it looked like it was simply another Ebony model to me... It is Aged Cherry which is cool because it appears to be black until you look at it closer. It has beautiful wood grain. I also like the pick guard better than some I've seen. I called gibson and it is modeled after an early 70's V. I don't know why they are only making 180 of them though. I should call and ask that. I was very happy with customer service. SteveFord
Any luck with the scale to see how much it weighs compared to a regular V?
