CaptPostMod
Every so often, Gibson resurrects my model of Les Paul. They name it something different and change it up just a smidge every time! This time, it's back as the 2014 Melody Maker. When I bought it, it was called "The Paul II." Of course, my guitar has little in common with the original "The Paul" and this new version of it similarly has little in common with the old-school Melody Makers. Some of the defining characteristics of it are the carved-top and comfort contoured back. Why they don't just give my model its own name, I don't know. Kinda nice to see it on store hooks again, though!
