Yorick
Hi JG2, I was saddened to open the news to see the final Ramone's passing. They all died far too young. I remember the energy they brought to the stage; they were a great live band.
dr faustus
Very sad news - unfortunately, it's the way of things. The older we get, the more folk we are going to lose.
MR GIBS
We all gonna die. The human construction doesn't last forever. Let's try to make a diference when we live. Let's play&sing. Last summer I edited my first album. I made 1000 copies. I don't sell this album. I give it to people who love to listen to my music. Untill now I have given about 500 copies. I take part in two albums of my band. Now me and my band - we are recording a new album. Next year I plan to start recording another solo album. A wise man said: "Hand out what you have collected on time." I have collected much music and now I try to "hand it out". I hope and I believe that my songs will last much longer than my body. And till there is someone who listens to my music or play a song of mine I will live. "RIP" is for the body ant the soul. But there's more than this. The music lives on. And mine will. splake
They are not dead. They are alive as they were on this past Friday night, when I plugged in the Ipod into the Auxiliary on my old van and took a ride. Ramones will never die.
