Steinberger Elite

Recommended Posts

Recently acquired a brandnew Steinberger Elite but there is not too much to find about these basses...it's a white one and it has a D-tuner.

Anyone's got any information about these basses....are these rare ?

Thanks if someone could help me out..it's this one.

I guess you've already seen the info available on SteinbergerWorld? The "Elite" line was not different to the regular line of instruments, it's more of a marketing thing for the Japanese market. These instruments usually had the same configuration as the regular top-of-the-line instruments, means active EQs, TransTrem (on guitars), etc. The major difference was the gold logo and a certificate signed by Ned. A serial number might help to (at least roughly) date your bass.
